I am regularly getting my pubic hair waxed off... And i have recently noticed that my pubic hair has begun to grow with white tips...???

Is this normal? At first i thought it was pubic lice because of all of the white dots in the growing hair.

I have symptoms such as itchy vagina, but my doctor has told me its a yeast infection.

My partner has no white dots in his pubic hair, and i pulled out a few hairs to have a closer look, and there is no eggs.

Please help i am very confused... Can your pubic hair just develop white tips? If so why does this happen?

I trim and shape mine so that I have a small, neatly trimmed patch of pubic hair right above my penis. I prefer my boyfriends either to trim similarly or to shave it all off. I shave mine all off in summer sometimes, depending on my mood and what my boyfriend likes.

The wax can clog your pores and attach to the hair as it grows .some waxes have chemicals that bleach new hair to make it appear less noticeable this may be the case.

If your doctor said it was a yeast infection, then that is what is probably is.

When you wax, you pull hair from the roots, thus a brand new hair that is tapered begins to grow. Tapered ends have less pigment, therefore appear to be lighter in color.

Shaving, on the other hand, creates a blunt end, giving an appearance of a 5 o'clock shadow.
