You can get pregnant at any time, because it's hard to know exactly when your period will come if you are irregular. Not to mention sperm can live inside the body for somewhere between 1-2 days I believe. If you aren't using protection than I'd say you'd have a good chance of becoming pregnant. If you WANT to become pregnant I'd say just keep having sex whenever you feel like it.

It depends on how long your cycles are. They say that the average womens cycle is 28 days. Ovulation typically would occur around day 14 of a 28 day cycle. But you can't always count on that. And sperm can live for up to 5 days so really you are very fertile for a few days before you ovulate. Why not chance it and just use condoms and get on some type of birth control. You can't rely on the days you think your not ovulating b/c you could really ovulate early or late and most people do not know their bodies well enough to know when they are ovulating unless they are monitoring it by cervical mucus, BBT, and position of cervix.

well you start to ovulate the 14th day (2 weeks) after your period. so the chances of pregnacy are very high. it is your most fertile time. Actully I just read in my old health book that from 8 to 11 after your cycle days you have a greater risk of getting pregnant and days 12 to 16 after your cycle are the most fertile days. 17-20 days after your cycle you also have a risk (the same amount of risk of days 6-11) Days 21 -28 are low risk days. and during your menstration (days 1 -7) are also low risk days. Hope all of this makes sense to you, it was alittle confusing to myslef i was typing it up! good luck!

The chances of getting pregnant on day 14 are quite high.
Google the term "sympto-thermal method". It can explain to you the cycle of changes in your body as the month goes along so that you can observe your body and better determine when you are fertile. Going by the number of days is not that reliable a method.

It varies from person to person as to when a person ovulates, ovulation occurs for about 48 hours. There are some signs to check to see when you are ovulating.
Breast tenderness
Abdominal cramps or twinges
Increased vaginal discharge, it will have an egg white consistency
Change in position and firmness of the cervix (ask your doctor how to detect cervix changes)

You have to ask your OB/GYN that question because it varies from female to female. Oh but don't risk having sex without protection because **** happens.
