cleanse your skin once or twice a day followed by a light moisturizer. Alot of people think that moisturizer blocks the pores but that's not true. Do not pinch at them..they can spread making it even tougher to get rid of. If you wear foundation, use one that does not have an oil base. Some foundations, like cover girl, actually have stuff in them to help with it, too. Hope my advice helps.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

Proactiv! Clearsil and all that other crap sux. Definitely invest the 46$ a month into getting the Proactiv solution. (That's about how much you'd pay for all that over the counter stuff at the drugstore that doesn't work anyway)

Proactive works when I get really bad outbreaks, but if I use it all the time, my face gets really dry. For daily cleansing I use Dove soap. Neutragena has a great medication for quickly blasting the occasional nasty intruders. Hope you find something that works! Breakouts stink!

It's called adult onset acne. It could be caused by stress. Try proactive. It helps, but you could try walking or yoga. It could also have something to do with your diet. Have you changed something? Are you trying something new? Not only food, but detergent or perfume soap? Explore these avenues and you may find some relief. Good luck.

i went through a phase similar to yours. I usually start to break out when I'm under stress. You should use the neutrogena scrub and mask. It also helps if you drink lots of water. You can try proactive, but it didn't really work for me.

It is a phase where your body goes through this. I recommend using very mild face soap such as dove liquid soap. Do not use any alcohol rubbing. Eventually your body will fight the acne naturally.
