I have a chocolate brown skirt and I am having a hard time matching a top with it. I know beige or tan goes with that color, but I need more variety

Lots of colors actually :
Many shades of pink
Lighter shades of blue
Light green
A Pale yellow ;

trust me just hold
up some of your
clothes to the brown
& you will find that brown
goes with a lot of different
colors :]

Colors That Match Chocolate Brown

chocolate brown is the new black! goes with almost everything as long as you can handle it... so wear it with a nice pink, white, blue, green top... and you'll look fab.... but! don't wear bright colours with a too dark one, as it makes the bright one look cheap and the other one to look boring.
I do not recommend using beige or tan... i mean it goes... but it goes too dull... i mean it's like a worm... as you say, go for variety! Be a bit bold and go for nice colours!

Like you said, any beige or tan.A nice vibrant burnt orange would be soo amazing.An army green looking color would be nice, if it fits your taste, a light blue (only specific shades), a cream or off white.Mostly subtle, fall colors.

A nice orange or a rush would look good with chocolate brown.

Cream would look lovely, as would rust, also try pale blue. Avoid yellow as you'll end up looking like an over-ripe banana.

Aqua and pale blue look beautiful with brown. So does a pale lavender.
