Okay it's a dynasty league which most ppl don't understand it's a lot different than a regular league. I keep the same players year to year so the draft is ONLY rookies. I have the 6th pick so I could really see Reggie Bush, Deangelo williams, Laurence Maroney, Lendale White, and Joseph Addai going 1-5 in w/e order. So who's the best player available? IMO it's Vernon Davis but here's my team...

QB: Brett Favre, Mark Brunell
RB: Larry Johnson, Ronnie Brown, JJ Arrington
WR: Matt Jones, Donald Driver
TE: Marcus Pollard, Kellen Winslow
K: Neil Rackers
DEF: Carolina, KC

Looking at your team I suggest this.
1st round Santonio Holmes
2nd Marcedes Lewis
3rd Kellen Clemens

Davis may or may not be great. Lewis will be close to as good. However, you will not find a Wr with as much impact as Holmes this year.

You need a QB bad since both yours will not last past this year. Clemmens will be your best chance as a starter next year

The hip word is Dynasty league but it's the same as saying it's a keeper league.

Your QB's are really bad. I would loke at maybe picking up Leinart at some time. Brunell shouldn't even be on your roster and Favre is a huge question mark. Both may retire after this year. Favre's lost a lot of his skills.

Matt Jones is a #2 and #3 receiver and Driver is coming off an injury. Johnson is a stud; Ronnie Brown should have a better year and JJ Arrington is now a backup. Your team has lots of problems and isnt' very good. I think your right about Vernon Davis.

Well you have got to take care of your needs at QB. You should make your first three picks Qbs because both Favre and Brunnell wont do much this year and they wont be around many more years. Your rbs look fine, although i dont know much about Ronnie Brown or Arrington. But at least you have a top notch starter in Holmes. You Pollard and Winslow both look shakey. But Vernon Davis wouldnt necessarily solve your problems as the QB situation isnt all that great in SF. So hold on to Winslow, he might turn out some decent numbers this year. Look for a free agent or trade TE who will be a consitent target.
good luck.

There is no question here. If Bush, Addai and Davis are gone, you need to go with Leinhart. There is no thinking required. Leinhart will be the starter either by the end of this year or next year for sure and you need a QB upgrade since the two you have are getting up there in age. I like Vernon Davis but you could go with Winslow as when healthy he is just as good as Davis.

There are a couple of positions that you need.

Here is option#1

You take Davis because you need a better TE. You have a TE that is getting old and hasnt done much in the last couple of years and an injury prone TE.

And here is option #2

You take a QB because both of yours are about to retire so I would pick Young or Leinart. Probaly Leinart over Young because Warner is old and he has a top RB and 2 real good WRs and maybe a future pro bowl TE.

I dont think you need to take a RB because you have 2 really good young RBs.

If you can pick up free agents i would drop Arrington and try to pick up a better RB

Reggie Bush in unquestionably the best rookie in the draft; it appears to me (since the combined age of your QB's is about 80) that you should look to Leinart first and then Vince Young.

I only say Leinart, because he has better WR weapons and is more likely to have an immediate impact.

Vernon Davis is probably the next best player according to your list - but he's still a TE. Think long-term here, and take Leinart.

I'd probably take Addai over Arrington for the bye weeks for your starters. Bush wouldn't be a bad pick either, for the same reason.
