Not before you have completed your education and been in the work force for about 5 years. By then you should know what you are looking for in a mate, and hopefully have a little money put back to give you a good start in the marriage.

Life is a crap shoot and even if you date for 5 years and think you know someone they can change on you.
Best bet - pick a spouse with character and high moral values and that will put your happiness above theirs.
I got married at 20 years old and we were still in school.
We had 4 kids right away and it was hard. Marry someone who is tough enough for the hard times.
I have be extremely happily married for 24 years. I was blessed but I also chose a man who would be a good father and provider as well as a husband. Look at the person you want to marry and access them as the future parent of you child...that is VERY important.

Generally 20 to 25 years. However marriage has no age restrictions except legal limitations.

Definitely after 28-30. Too many people get married too young.

I feel that it is almost impossible to share your life with someone for the rest of your life when you are still searching to find out who you are. It is a good idea to go to college and live on your own for awhile. Being responsible and knowing that you can make it on your own will help you findout what makes you happy and most importantly you would of spent more time getting to know who you are.

It depends on the people their maturity. I seriously would try to get my kids to go to pre marriage counseling bef they get married that way they see what marriage is and how to deal with things and also see if they are compatible....most people just get caught up in the party dress and forget what this is supposed to mean.
