I have read some of the answers that were given and what great answers they are. I too feel the same as them - you gotta have some friends or relatives, church members, neighbors who could put you up for a couple of days for you to get a hold of social services or women's shelter to help you. Being sick and especially around a control freak is torture in itself - he's adding to your illness - break away!

Do what I am trying to do now. Save up enough money and leave his ***! I am going through the same thing and I am too young and too attractive to put up with this b.s anymore and I'll bet you are also. Fill your back pocket. Do it anyway you can. I can't even leave my apartment b4 he starts swearing at me and telling me that I am cheating on him etc etc. and that's exactly what they do when they are cheating to ease their guilt or something. Just get out as soon as you can! I am trying and I'll get out it won't be much longer. Start getting well. Whatever it takes. About a week ago I had strep throat I was to sick to move also. Never been so sick and he slept and slept instead of offering to let me sleep and take care of our daughter. He just slept. It makes me raging mad but that's how he is and its just not worth it! Get out!

Find a women's shelter and go there. They don't judge you or look down on anyone. They offer a warm bed and three meals a day to help you get back on your feet.

That only means you don't need to run away with your problems. Moving out is not the answer. You just need to talk about it and try to work on it together . You love him and he loves you.

1st I say you go and get counseling together. If he doesn't change than you ask your family to help you move out and explain to them your situation. I believe that they will help you because that's what family does help each other.

there are womens shelters and there are your family members to call upon --- if you are physically sick and if he's been abusive you can have him removed from the home....
