How to find your Norton Account password for your Norton 2006 product:
Get your Norton Account password:
1 Open your Norton product.
2 Click Help & Support > Norton Account.
3 Click Log on.
4 On the Log On to My Norton Account window, click Forgot your password?
5 Type the email address used to create the Norton Account.
6 Click Next.
7 Click Next again to receive an email with your password from NortonAccount@symantec.com.

I do not know exactly. If there is no way you can guess it or find were you may have rote it down I think you might have to reinstall it.
You should be able to update and still use Norton you just cannot change any settings or disable it without closing the task it's self.
You can still disable Norton without the password by killing the task. But the password is pretty important. I would reinstall or get an other copy if you don't have one.

I have Norton antivirus installed on my pc and I don't need a password for anything, open Norton Internet Security and click on my account, retrieve product key...

Can't ya delete the program then reload it, and set a new password? Or does it have a "forgot password" button on it? You could maybe email the norton antivirus thing and see if they know your password... hope this helps...

You should be able to contact their service help.
Look on your norton pop up and see if there is a place to retreive your password. Or if you have a disc, just reinstall. If you are working for a company, or govermental business they have personel who does that.

You can't be the first one to do this, if you cant find out through customer service or clicking the "I forgot my password" button, Uninstall it and reinstall.

Is there an option that says i forgot my password and you click it and you put your email adress and they send it to you
