I really worried about my ex-best friend!He was supposed to move before xmas last year,but he didn't.I've emailed him and he hasn't reaplied.I IMed him and he hasn't replied either!I just don't understand because we were realy close!
But that's not what worries me....a few weeks before xmas last year when he was supposed to move,he told me he'd been doing drugs for a long time and he smokes and drinks too.He's only 14 and he shouldn't do that stuff!No one should!I'm especially worried because he's suicidal.He told me a few years ago that he had attempted suicide three times!
I'm just worried something happened to him!How can I find out if he's *gulp* dead?Or can you tell me why he might not be talking to me?Please help!!!!!!!!

There are a number of things you can do to find where he is, what he is doing, or if he is dead. 1) Get ahold of his family and freinds who can either refer you to where he is or maybe relay a message to him. 2) If you do not have access to a family member use the internet to find them (I assume you know his last name and what city he lives in). 3) Contact the local authorities in his area, they will not be able to tell you anything but they can try and do a check on him. 4) Next is the worst of them, you can try and contact all the local mortuaries in his area and see if they know the family and can contact them on your behalf (that is if he is actually dead). Then again if he has gotten deep into drugs he might be totally isolating himself from the world, including his friends and family, in which case they might welcome you calling to get in touch with him. If you have or can get the phone number of one of his family members, call them and tell them you haven't heard from your friend in a while, and ask how he is doing. Don't talk about all your worries, though. Just ask how he is and if you can have his address or phone number so you can get in touch with him. You can also find phone books for every city online.
Your friend is lucky to have a caring friend like you. I hope you find him.

Do you know his family or any friend that also know's him? If you do contact them. He's probably not talking to you because he's ashamed of his drug usage. He know's you're not interested in that stuff. Hang in there and don't worry too much... maybe he's in a rehab facility. Take care of your life and be greatful that you didn't fall into the same pattern as your friend.

i'd be worried about them too but i wouldnt hound on them by emailing and IMing them all the time. if u know they're family or other friends you could try to ask them or just let them go and see how far they make it and see if they ever come back to you as best friends again.

he might have a communication prob like his pc is not working..if you can try to go and try to look for him thats the best way for you to know whats really happening to him.it really sucks when you are cared to person who doesnt care about what you feel..

my guess would be that your Strong views about what he is or was doing might have something to do with it or it may be he cared about you and doesn`t want you to see him the way he is
