Lebron James, because he has a way better team then Jordan had at 21. Jordan was the bulls at 21, so he had to score. Lebron has teammates that can get the job done that's why he averages so many assists. Jordan was much better offensively, and defensively, but Lebron gets more rebounds and assists and he involves him team alot more more than Jordan.

thats not a fair comparison because Lebron was in the league for three years at 21 and Michael was a rookie. Lebron had three year start over Michael Jordan by that time but if you see how good Michael was as a rookie i think Michael was better because as a rookie at 21 he basically posted the same numbers as Lebron he had 28 points,5 rebounds, and 5 assists a game which is close to Lebron's numbers of 31,6,7

G'day Butterfly,
Thanks for your question.
LeBron James is a potential Hall-of-Famer but Michael Jordan is a legend.
He ended an NBA career of 15 seasons with a regular-season scoring average of 30.12 points per game, the highest in NBA history (marginally ahead of Wilt Chamberlain's 30.06). He won six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls (during which he won all six NBA Finals MVP awards), won 10 scoring titles, and was league MVP five times. He was named to the All-NBA First Team 10 times, All-Defensive First Team nine times, and led the league in steals three times.
With all these things taken into account, Jordan is considered by many to be the greatest basketball player of all time. Since 1983, he has appeared on the front cover of Sports Illustrated a record 49 times, and was named the magazine's "Sportsman of the Year" in 1991. He has also appeared on the cover of SLAM Magazine nine times (a record), including as the cover athlete for the magazine's 50th and 100th issues. In 1999, he was named "the greatest athlete of the 20th century" by ESPN, and was second only to Babe Ruth on the Associated Press list of top athletes of the century. His leaping ability, vividly illustrated by dunking from the foul line and other feats, earned him the nicknames "Air Jordan" and "His Airness."
Beginning in his junior year of high school, LeBron James was highly promoted by the national media in the United States as a future NBA star. He was selected with the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers, directly out of high school at the age of 18. He is now widely considered as one of the more gifted and versatile players as well as serving as one of the more prominent figures in the league.
If LeBron James is half the basketballer Michael Jordan was, he will be a great player.
I have enclosed some sources for your reference.
Regards

there's no question that Lebron has far surpassed What MJ had accomplished by age 21, but i would take michael jordan at age 27 or 28 any day over lebron at 21.
we'll have to see where lebron can take his level of play from where he is now.

Honestly I still think MJ cuz he is a legend and if Lebron was the case he would have led the Cavaliers to victory in the NBA championship but he cant because D-Wade took it from him and thats a good thing.

I agree with the first answer...Bron and MJ are both ball hogs...The best player ever existed in the NBA at age 21 was Magic Johnson..he played all positions and averages the most assists per game..Larry Bird, and even Oscar Robertson are better players..its not all about scoring, its about teamwork and leadership and not all about flasy and popularity...

yeah it's lebron, and it's really not even close. Personally I think lebron will end up surpassing MJ in most categories, barring major injuries. And I'm from Chicago, I grew up watching MJ.
