I think training a lazy man is very impossible...been there, done that. The best you can do is talk to him and tell him how happy it would make you if he would do something you asked of him once in a while. Sometimes giving them an incentive helps, if you know what I mean...

It's not your job. Love and accept him as he is, or don't.

I don't know where you are in the relationship (or if it's a brother), but the first question anyone should ask themselves before they marry is... "Can I live with this person for the next 50 years if NOTHING changed about them?" If the answer is no, move on. Why? If the person changes just for you, they won't be happy... if they don' t change just for you, you won't be happy.

True love is unconditonal and not out to make a person into someone they are not.

If he was lazy when you got with him assume that he will stay that way and ask yourself can you deal with it?

you don't train people. its hard to believe you said that. if and only if he wants to change from whithin will it actually have an impact.
