In early pregnancy, hormones cause the cervix to engorge with blood and become darker in color and rather tender. You may notice in certain positions or in deep penetration, it is painful. You should feel the pain as if someone was poking a tender spot, like a bruise inside. That is probably your cervix. If it hurts the whole time, something else may be wrong.
In a normal pregnancy it's ok to have sex. You may want to try more lube or different positions with less penetration.

Having sex while you are pregnant wont hurt unless you are about 9 months and sometimes it doesnt...and painful sex is not a sign of sex, but it could be signs of other problems.

Sex never hurt when i was pregnant. I don't think it is a sign, although it could depend on the woman.

Well no it wasnt painful for me, except for near the end only cause laying on your back for anything with such a huge belly is uncomfortable!
Pain isnt a sign of pregnancy, it is a sign of some other illness's like bladder infections and cysts so you should see your doctor.

No, if you do it carefully and slowly. In first 3 months if you have a bad medical record on pregnancy like miscarriage, you should avoid sex intercourse because it increasing abortion rate.In the last three months of pregnancy having sex can help a smooth labour because sperm contains prostaglandins which can stimulate uterine contraction.

No, pain during intercourse is not a sign of pregnancy. Sometimes sex can hurt while you are pregnant because your hormones will make you dry or you might develop varicose veins in you vulva.

That sure is a weird question.
There is one sure way of finding out - and I bet you can guess what that is?
However, I have been told on good authority, that it is extremely painful having sex while actually giving birth - but don't take my word for it!

If it hurts, you're obviously doing something wrong. Use some (not so, I guess) common sense and it'll be just fine. I mean it's just sex, for God's sake!!!
