It's totally real...in fact, I too, live in West Hollywood and the apartment that she is residing in is a short distance away...I think she is going to stay with Jason as opposed to going to Paris, but I think that will be a huge mistake, he is too immature for her and she will be missing out on a chance of a lifetime....although there are parts of the show that are "set-up", it is NOT scripted as mentioned in the earlier answers...

It's real, it's a reality show. There's an article about them and the show in Star. I like LC more than Kristen on Laguna Beach anyway. I think she's prettier.

it is somewhat real. I know that they like audition people for parts and that its not being filmed 24/7. they pick certain times and places and tell the "actors" what they want to capture on film that day. but the situations are real and the problems. just it's a little more structured than real life.
