Bill Cosby did do some real funny stuff back in the day. His stand up was great. This is the thing with Pryor or Carlin you'll get something else to think about, with Cosby you'll just get jokes, or a speech. Comedy changed and he didn't move with it.

Well when he started getting comic standups, CD's, movies, sitcoms and oh yeah money I guess we all figured he was worth the effort. Cosby is sooo funny when it comes to parenting and kids. Being a parent of 2 kids it is nice to beable to sit back and have a laugh when Bill Cosby talks. He certainly puts a light on everyday routines of taking care of kids and being a parent.

The people who told Bill Cosby he was funny are the same people who made him number one in comedy record sales.

Hmm, Maybe it was the millions of people that watched his show in the 80s.
Or maybe it was the 100s of people that laughed at his stand up comedy routine.
Maybe hes not funny ANYMORE, but he obviously had his day. Give him a ******* break. Hes like 88.

How old are you? He was one of the top comedians in the 60s/70s. Try picking up an old record of his and you might look at him differently. Don't just judge the old softie you see today, try gettng an idea of what his comedic history is like.

All those people who have been laughing at his stand up, buying the cd's and tapes of his comedy. Watching his comedy TV show for years. I would think that's a lot of people, including me.

I think he is. Or was in his older stuff. He was also leaning more to the political side. I think he was trying to get across some civil rights messages through his humor.
