Hopefully someone from the medical field is in here. My blood pressure is 100/58, I take blood pressure medicine Lisinopril 40mg and Hctz 25mg, and sometime in the evening my bp drops to this level, I guess I am otherwise healthy, except for the weight part 268lbs and 31 yrs old male.

The golden figure of 120/80 mmHg for blood pressure is really a guideline. It does depend largely on individual cases, taking into account age and weight etc. your BP of 100/58 is actually pretty good, considering you are already on blood pressure medication. taking into account your weight and age as well, it is a healthy value. You dont have to worry much.

Hope this helps. :D

A blood pressure of 100/58 is pretty GOOD for a 31-yr old male, despite being 268 #. I am an LPN in Oklahoma, and the "good range" for BP is anything 100-120 / 60-80. If anything, I would say your diastolic reading is low, the "58". But it is NOT too low. A young athlete will have an average BP of 110/68.
The diastolic reading is a measure of the pressure in your blood vessles when your heart is at rest, or not compressing, the "push" of the blood through the arteries.
Not bad for a 31 yr old guy.
Stay away from ciggies and limit your salt intake, for a start, to stay healthy.

LET'S LOSE ABOUT 69 POUNDS IN THE NEXT YEAR,
OK, BUDDY?

I am not immediatly familiar with that BP medication but i am familar with BP and for a 31 y/o male of your weight that is a rather low BP. Typical for a middle aged male is 120/80. Yours is about 20 points low on both the sys and dya. *top and bottom numbers* If this is happening over a long period i would suggest going back to the doctor perhaps the medication is having an adverse effect, but to answer your question that is a little low but not to a severly dangerous point.Good luck and be safe.

too low, a normal b/p is typically 120/80 you need to get with your doc , you also need to exercise 3-4 x's a week , try eating more green veggie's .. moving around (exercise) will help to bring your b/p up some, also being over weight is bad on your heart, that's where the green veggies come in, hope i helped ya

120/80 is normal. Yours may be a bit low. Monitor it and see how it goes. If you have trouble with dizziness or fainting, you need to talk to the Dr.

This is a fine blood pressure... as long as you aren't experiancing other symptoms.. dizzyness.. nausea, fainting... etc... you should be fine.. and please continue to monitor it.
