www.venere.com - a GREAT European version of hotels.com. Don't use hotels.com or other American hotel search websites...many European hotels don't honor reservations/prices made through those systems. Also check www.tripadvisor.com for more hotels and great reviews of most hotels. We planned our whole 2-wk trip in April using these websites and had really nice, but cheap, hotels.
