many believe that you can not get a good job/career without a masters. the job market is getting harder and harder because of competition. some one shed some light for me on this topic.

There is actually an anticipated worker shortage over the next 30 years or so. It won't be long before a bachelor's will be back within a good salary/hiring range.

I disagree that master's degrees are necessary for higher advancement. It really depends on the type of career you are looking at. Teaching requires a BA to start but there are many types of certification that you can advance with that have nothing to do with an MA
But engineering maybe different. But the number 1 and 2 most important quality anyone needs to get a good job is a professional attitude and experience in something.

You usually get a bachelors after four years of college. Depends on what job market you are interested in.

a bachelors is still a good entry level degree. For true advancement, advanced degrees make a big difference.

No, its not the same. High school is way better than bachelor's. And oh, you're among the very few around here who ask real intelligent questions.

no, a bachelor's degree means you FINISHED COLLEGE.
a diploma means you've finished high school. now since the manufacturing base has been eroded, it is believed to have a decent job one must have a bachelor's degree to prove he/she has a good and through education.
