What does equal mean? If I am born with one foot am I equal to someone born with two? If I am born with lots of money , am I equal to someone born very poor? No ! we are not born equal and we never become equal. and if we were we would not be animals on this earth. We all have a choice in how we want to live our lives based on what we can do and where we live and what we know and a lot of other variables that are changing all the time. I think equal is a bad word to describe live things with. Maybe we could better say that we are born in balance with. and even then any little thing would start to change the balance immediately A few words are not enough to answer a question like you have posed. This is one of the deeper things to think about

No we are not. What most people don't understand is, that this equality thing is meant in a political sense only. Every person (citizen) has one vote. That supposedly makes us all equal. But look at te beginning of this, if you aren't a citizen, forget about your equality.
Now think of someone who is born with half a brain, and an IQ of 50. How equal is he, and to what?
This is a way to look at the way people are confused, but it helps keeping the incompetents, that the ignorant voted for, in power. So there is no desire to change anything.
Bush enjoys being flown around in a $600 Million 747. Who wouldn't? Problem is, that he is doing more damage to the people who elected him than anyone else has done in a long time. The problem is, that he had enough connections and a well known father, to help him to get there. he just doesn't have the brains to do a useful job for the country. But he can't help that, and as the saying goes, people get the government they deserve. Doesn't say much for the voting public... 'nough said

I think we are all equal. We were not meant to be the stars of Hollywood. We are where we are suppose to be today. Some may have more money, bigger houses, a lot of clout but in all we are equal. In this society we are looked on differently because that is the way it has been for years. Yet in Gods eyes we are equal.

Not agree. We weren't born equal, we don't have equal rights, we aren't treated equal, and in many situations shouldn't be treated equal. Some people are better than other people. But we should all be tolerant of others.

No. I know its not the PC thing to say but there are a lot of people who are worthless wastes of carbon. If you honestly think that you disagree with me here's a little hypothetical situation for you.

Mother Teresa and Jeffery Dhamer, you can bring one of them back to life. If all humans were of truly equal value this would be a decision that would require some actual thought.

We are equal in the sense that I'm not better than you. We are equal politically in that we have the right to live, liberty and the purfuit of happiness.

If things don't go your way remember that some are more equal than others.

As human beings created by God yes we are all equal. We are equal as no one race is superior to the other. The same universal laws apply equally to all of us. In the basic human makeup-one head,2 arms and 2 legs,1 heart,1 brain and so on,yes we are all equal no matter what race or nation we are a part of.In the area of basic human needs and wants, yes we are all equal. A man wish to gain employment, have a home, live comfortably and be able to supposr himself and his family is the same in Russia as it is in the USA (applies also to Lebanon and Israel). It is in the characteristics that distinguish one individual from another that we are not equal such as: intelligence,talents,capabilities,motivation-drive,ambition,physical attributes(can vary from culture to culture)possessions and our status in society. Note:Suppose should be Support

All humans are not equal, physically, mentally, financially or socially; because they are born differently. Society through it's governing bodies can create equal opportunities, but never total equality.

When people here spend money on food, clothes, luxury, drive a nice car, have a family, that's a decent life

Then there are people who are homeless, no family, alone in a world surrounded by people who have a future.

Then there are children who are dying because of hunger, sitting under the hot sun, swarmed by flies, because they don't even have a shelter.

How can we be equal?
