"Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loves not the transgressors" (2:190). In subsequent verses, Muslims are called upon to stop fighting when the opposing party ceases its aggression.

yes the quran says to fight those who oppress you, but if they want peace then you should seek peace your only quoting the verses that say to fight.

I believe that the evidence speaks for itself. And there is one more point to note; Israel (Old Testament) was not told to kill all non-Jews throughout the world. The Jews only drove a specific number of peoples out of the land of Palestine. The Jews were not told to kill Gentiles outside their land; once the land was taken, the warring stopped.
This point alone shows quite a difference between the Koran and the Old Testament.

Do not look upon anyone as unclean no matter who they are or what they worship. God let Peter know this also in a dream, because there will always be good Muslims, and bad Muslims. Just like in the Bible there were Bad Jews, and good Jews. Which proves that every one is a sinner no matter what group or religion they are in.

If u already didn't know, it is said that a koran that is not in arabic is told not to be a "Koran". If u learned arabic and read the "real" koran, there is some stuff like that in it but not like the way u say it. U make it seem like its only a book of violence. Yeah, like there's no violence in the Bible. 50% of korans that are in English are fake. I bought some korans in English version (bought somewhere about 7) and found out all seven were in one way or another different. Hope this helped.

And?...so does the bible say "an eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" and most of us do not take it literally. Plus, its very easy for someone who is an outsider to a religion or whatever...to misinterpret things. We werent raised muslim or other religion so we dont understand their beliefs and values. We know for a fact many dont understand catholicism, whether its people who are or were catholics, and non-catholics.
