Yes it is. It does have problems but the standard of living is high (compared to the rest of the world) and most people speak English. The biggest drawback is the weather. Unfortunately it's not always like it was last week: it's too cold for most of the year.

It was the BEST until half the third world moved in.
The politicians who want their votes have allowed the UK to become just another foreign shite hole.
We have lost so many of our freedoms that no-one who is under 50 or not British could even begin to understand.
Everything - from the loss of free speech, the right to own a gun and equality under the law right down to queueing for buses, not spitting and not dropping litter in the street have gone.
There will be a backlash though, the signs are all there.
When it does come those that do not like the resugence of our values will be pointed towards the general direction of Dover.
Wait and see; it can't come quick enough for most of us!

Good & Bad.
Too many Cars, Too many People, Too many foreigners, Too much housing taking up the countryside and putting pressure on our resources.
Too many imigrants on our social and taking our jobs.
Basically its becoming a free for all as I think our country is a bit to nice to others.
The good........... Has some good countrysides and nature places (especially if you get away from the major towns and cities). Fantstic Football leages. Great Pubs, Good Food (in some places). Quaint villages. And its got a sea to seperate us from the Germans and Frenchies !!! ha ha ha
Did I say good football and 'ENGLISH' People (not british - two different catagories of people) are all good !!!

We pride our selves in our freedom.True we've had a scare by the underground bombings. So we are more attentive. However our govt.would'nt dare to try to implement the draconian laws of our transatlantic cousins This is not a police state. No gestapo here in the guise of liberty and security.
