The exact path to be a specialist doctor (a dermatologist or gyno or any other specialty) is you have to get a bachlors, usually in biology or somethign to that effect (undergraduate) then you go to medical school, after which your a general practioner, specialty doctors often have follow on schools before or after their residency. There is no real shorter way, im not a doctor but an medic who is aspiring to a possible further medical career in a specialty field i can say its hard work but very rewarding when you can make someone feel better. Good luck and have fun.

There are no shorter ways to become a dermatologist because a dermatologist is a medical doctor. It is a rewarding career, because not only can you help people look their best, but you can diagnose and treat skin cancer and help disfigured people lead normal lives.

Dermatologists have assistants and nurses who assist them with their practices. If you do not want to spend the time required to become a doctor, you could fill a support role at an office.
