My daughter is 7 months old and it's still falling out. I sympathize with you, believe me! I think it fell out for almost a year with my first daughter, so I'm hoping that this will end soon! If your hair is long, keep it in a ponytail or a clip, that's what I do, if it's short then try not to touch it too much. This is just one of those things that is probably different for everyone. Good luck!

oh sweetie, I was told my hair will fall when my daughter turns 3 months, then 6 months and finally when she is 1 year and this was an old wives tale she is now 8 months and its still falling. I sympathize with you and my only advice is more hair care and here in India we oil our hair (with nourishing oils like coconut/olive etc.) that helps in hair fall. all the best - and remember everything after having a baby is different from person to person.

Mine stopped around 6 months. But some people still have some pregnancy hormones that last longer then others. If it doesn't stop by the time she's a year old then maybe check with a doctor, but right now it's still totally normal.

I had a c/section with my baby and if I remember correctly it was about 9 months or so that I had a lot of hair loss. I would bring it up to your doctor when you see him/her next time or if it is a great concern, give him/her a call and you can even talk to the nurse about it.

Mine told me it lasted longer due to the anesthesia.

Good luck!

My daughter is now 10 months and it seems like my hair loss is getting worse. I have brought it up twice to my doctor and she said it is normal....

But how long?? I WISH I KNEW!

It usually keeps falling out until you quit breast feeding - apparently its normal for it to keep falling out - my youngest of four is 2 1/2 and mine is still falling out - but no bald spots - go figure!

Do you breastfeed? That usually prolongs the excessive hairloss. It's the hormones that cause it.
