Good, 8.5/10.
1. Qb's: Duante Culpepper and Chris Simms
Good. Culpepper should have a great year.
Grade: B+
2. RB's: Shaun Alexander, Kevin Jones and Steven Jackson
Very good. Shaun Alexander is one of the best, and Steven Jackson is a good #2 back. This should be a major point of production.
Grade: A
3. WR's: Reggie Wayne, Rod Smith, Reggie Brown, Brandon Lloyd.
This is your one weakness. Try and trade Jones or Simms for a better WR core. This needs help.
Grade: C+
4. TE's: Heath Miller and Jeremy Stevens
Pretty good. No suggestions here.
Grade: A-
5. K: Ryan Longwell
Good. All kickers are about the same, so this is good.
Grade: B+
5. DEF's: Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions
Bears are extremely good and Lions play a sorry team on Bears bye week.
Grade: A+
Overall Grade: A-. You should finish within the top of the pack with this team.
Suggestions:
GET BETTER WR'S!!!

Well you did a great job on drafting RBs but the depth after those two are highly questionable. I would recommend looking at a Frank Gore in place of Brandon Lloyd.
QB situation looks fine, if Culpepper returns to half of what he was in '04 then you'll be fine as Simms continues to develop into a solid starter in TB. I wouldn't really change anything there unless a great offer comes your way.
WR-Your weak point, Wayne is money but the rest is full of question marks. Lloyd isn't even in my TOP-45 WR rankings and I would drop him to pick up Gore or a WR such as Givens. Rod Smith will be solid but nothing spectacular and Reggie Brown will go through tough growing pains.
TE-Solid, Heath Miller will become a top redzone threat now that the Bus has pulled into the garage. Don't expect anything better (or worse for that matter) out of Jerramy Stevens.
K-Longwell kicked well in GB, will do great in Minny and the Bears are the best you can be. DET still has a young D but the DL will make up for everything.

QB: B- with potential
Daunte is really a huge risk. He could be great he could put up zero. Simms is a bye week filler QB. I would look to add another QB that has potential cutting your back up DT.
RB: A-
SA is great though missing Hutch on the Oline may hurt his numbers. S. Jackson will have a break out year and K. Jones is a great back up who may end up out doing Jackson. RB win fantasy championships so things are looking good for you.
WR: C
Wayne is good, but R. Smith is nearing 50 and Lloyd has always been a bust. R. Brown is an interesting sleaper, but you need a 2nd starter bad. I would get rid of your back up TE and DT (pending what you decide at QB) and add another sleaper WR like K. Robinson, T. Wiliamson, C. Rogers or R. Garner.
TE: B-
K: B
DT: A
Overall: B+ if you make some moves A-.

Please explain how you got Alexander and Jackson - both should have been gone by pick #10 at the very latest.
It makes it difficult to rate teams when people post this non-sense.
I'l just assume you robbed someone in a trade by sending a WR for jackson.
I don't like Rod Smith as your #2 WR - Brown and Lloyd are also #3 who should only be filling in for you. If you can rob some other clown by sending Simms for Darrell Jackson, then go ahead and do it.
Drop the Lions - pick up another WR/RB bench player. You don't need a 2nd DST until the bears' bye week. I'm sure the Lions will still be available.

If Culpepper is healthy you have a good team. An avg K/TE but a great D and two top 12 Rb's. (Alexander is probably the best back in the league.)
I would upgrading at WR would be a good idea as Wayne is good but Rod Smith is not the fantasy option he used to be. Problem with trading Simms for Robinson though is that you should have a backup QB to Culpepper. Daunte is not as strong a fantasy option as people believe and coming off major knee surgery, I would have a fallback.
good luck to you.

You're going to need a better starting QB if you want to do well. I just don't understand why everyone is thinking Culpepper is going to rule the roost this year. Look at his stats in Randy Moss-less games, and he's VERY average. Now he's got a bum wheel on top of that? I think Minnesota saw the writing on the wall and Miami was willing to take a chance.
I'd also be fishing the waiver wire after the season starts for the top surprise WR on the board to shore up your depth in that position. Nobody knows what Rod Smith is going to do this year, and your bench guys are definately spot starters.
I think that you can still be playoff bound with your stout RB combo and the Bears carrying you a lot of the season; I just hope you are able to find an answer at QB.

You have a very solid backfield. It will be the key to your success and lead you to victories. However, your wide recievers are pretty weak and you will lack consistent production from this position. Whether or not you compete for the league championship depends on the play of Daunte Culpepper. He is coming off a major knee injury and has yet to prove he can perform at a high level without Moss lined up as a deep threat and bailout option. If Culpepper struggles, you may find yourself struggling to get into the playoffs.

Looking good Culpepper will have a big year. Alexander will always be solid and Steven Jackson has so much potential. WR are pretty weak id try to upgrade that position though.

That looks really good. You should try and get a better backup QB, maybe trade Kevin Jones for one. Miller is a very underrated TE, I think he will do well this year.
