Yes...there is System Recovery in every Windows XP system. To do that follow this instructions:
>Turn off your computer
>Look for F10 in your keyboard
>Turn on your computer
>Press the F10 key many times immediately after you have turned on your computer
>Wait until you see a Recovery system menu screen
>Then just follow instructions
You may also have a Win XP CD included when you bought your computer, that also would work
Hope it works :)

I provide professional computer/professional/technology services...
Your question either needs be clarified, or I can tell you that this can not be done with "softwatre".
You could go into add/remove programs, and remove everything that will let you uninstall it.
After that you need to have an extensive knowledge of "native" files/folders that come with XP in order to continue cleaning out your system, and i've done it....
Your registry will never be cleaned up.
The best way to go about this is to get a "system restore" cd that will at least return the system back to a factory state, and then you can add/remove from there, and that is about as close as you are going to get without formatting the drive and performing a clean install.
I take it you are trying to "give a/your computer" to someone else without anything other than windows.
You can do it, but it's not easy or fun.
Then after you do all the manual cleaning, you can use software like CyberScrub to complete/trule delete and remove that deleted data that is normally easily recoverable.

You don't need software, just reformat your hard drive and reinstal XP.
If you want to erase EVERYTHING, remove your hard drive, drill holes in it, pour acid on on the disc, cut it into pieces and bury it.
Then buy a new hard drive and instal it and load XP.
There is NO way to erase a hard drive completely, you can overwrite on old files which can take forever, but those can be rebuilt and read. Dang files just don't die.
And ! Remember emails NEVER die either, they just go to email pergatory, where they can be brought back to life when you least expect it. The same goes for surfing. Call your sever and ask them to tell you where you've surfed in the last month. They can tell you where, when and how long to the second. So, if you are concerned about whats on your hard drive, remember Big Brother is watching. The best way to stop something is don't start.

A program that I have used is called Eraser. Google the word Eraser and read the first few links. They will direct you to a site where you can down load the program. Eraser uses the process of writing information to the hard disk multiple times. You can tweak the program to the amount of times and the type of information you want to write on to the hard disk. Once you down load the program and you have a file you want to "erase/over write" simply right click on the file and chose the "erase"option. Depending on the settings you've decided upon Eraser will over write the file. There is also an option to overwrite all of the unused hard disk space as well. I've yet to find any documentation on line which says that the process is recoverable. If it is recoverable then I would assume that high level government agencies only know how to do that.

If your goal is to have a clean install of XP on your computer, then your best bet is to use your XP CD and delete any existing partitions on your hard drive thereby reformatting and wiping it clean and then installing XP so that there will only be one Master Boot Record.
If you do not have your original XP CD then you will either have to buy one or you will need to uninstall the other software by hand.

And if you don't want to risk a system restore, go to control panel, add/remove programs, then view the list, and take out everything that you want to take out, one at a time. That should leave Windows and your data files. Delete the data files, and what is left is Windows.

WHY THE COPS COMING?
I CAN TELL YOU HOW TO RUIN THE HARD DRIVE BUT NOT ERASE IT.
THIS IS A GOOD REVENGE THING
GET A FLOPPY DISK AND GLUE SOME SAND PAPER ON THE BLACK TAPE OF THE FLOPPY. THE PART THAT THE COMPUTER READS.
INSERT INTO COMPUTER
START COMPUTER
WHEN IT READS THE DISK THEN IT SHOULD DAMAGE THE HARD DRIVE.
UH YOU DIDNT GET THIS FROM ME

Go to a command line and use the erase command. Or erase everything from the control panel, and finish up from a command prompt.
Makes a man think, "hm?"
