You can't go to Hell for reading Harry Potter. Harry Potter is nothing more than literary junk food, unlike the dreck the Christian Fundamentalists like the LEFT BEHIND series which is mere literary junk. Those people will be going to a far worse place than Hell for reading that garbage.
You'll do okay. Just broaden your literary horizons more. Harry Potter's nice, but LORD OF THE RINGS is better!

no way..Harry Potter may be about witchcraft and wizardry but i don't think you will be condemned because of it...reading Harry POtter doesn't mean you are going against your faith..a lot of people enjoy Harry Potter, if reading it will cause people to got to hell then HELL will be really crowded! :-) loosen up a bit..reading a good literary piece will not be the basis whether you will go to heaven or to hell.... besides, Harry POtter is too good to resist!! :-)

For reading a book, NO! Now, you didn't mention any actual sins that you are committing- you may go to hell for those, but don't use the Harry Potter books as your excuse!!!!

yeah, maybe you'll spent a year or two in hell... loosen up ok? its okay being religious and all but if you need to question whether you are going to hell for reading HP, you really got it bad.
Maybe, if you want a guarantee ticket to heaven - just stay in your room 247 and pray- lets the rest of the world wallow in sins. ^_^ what a life you will have

I don't think so. I mean it's just a book. I think if you were practicing actual witchcraft and such then you might be getting a ticket to the hot spot, but otherwise you can keep on reading!
