ok so when you receive th ball and a defender is on you and your back is turn tword them is there any way you can turn the ball and turn on them so you can go past them

with a man on your back, let the ball come towards you like you're letting it go through your legs. then when close fake to the left then use your right outstep to turn it by lightly letting the ball touch it and guide it in a path you want to go

If you stroke the ball softly and tell it how pretty it is, this should turn it on!!!!! Actually a soccer ball does not need to be turned on, it works just like it is.

try to use the laces part of the boot to push the ball to the side and so if you use your right boot to push the ball, u should turn to the left side and vice-versa. if you r more confident, try to backhell the ball through your opponent's legs and run past him. you must practice a lot to get it perfect. you can also try to flick the ball up and over his head.
P.S. : remember to shout "OLE!" when u put the ball through your opponent's legs :P

Most important is put your body in front of the defender and when he is not expecting it change direction. A turn.

please be more specific, I don't quite understand what you mean by turn on the soccer ball
