What types of things can I plan around the kids, and yet still enjoy some romance?

It sounds like you need a late night rendezvous at home, after the kids are asleep. A late candlelit dinner, mood music, some vino, and maybe some sexy sheets in the bedroom.

Well there are lots of things.. feed the kids and do the whole bath bed routine. and after they are asleep you and your partner have your dinner. Movies. But there is always Grandma (lol). As far as going out for romance w/o the kiddies good luck.

If your kids go to bed early enough, you could rent a romantic movie or go dancing in your living room. Do whatever you find romantic to do, just do it at home after the kids are asleep!

Have an orgy with the sitter if she's hot and you're into the Menage a trois.
Then park the kids in front of the TV.

i understand where you are coming from. my husband and i are the same way. we rent a movie and watch it after the kids go to bed. we watch it in our room with candlelight and some times with dinner (in our room).. it's usually leftover pizza. but it is alone time for us together.
