will someone rate my story on the sight? (be honest, you don't have to rate it a five) i'm new at doing this, i just want some opinions or suggestions

I found your story very moving,it has feeling and depth.Carry on with your writing Valerie,and ignore the negative comments you will receive from people.you must pursue your writing never give up ,you have the talent to be a good writer.
When you put your feelings on paper,and write with the experiences of life,people pick up on the writers words intuitively.
You have done that with me. Good luck,go for it.
Go to a site which I also use its called....www.selfgrowth.com....it gives you extra tips for people who are interested in pursuing their future in writing.

It's very good. I am not past where the mother tells Beth that she may have to send her to live with another family.
Keep working at this, and finish it. If you have to go to writers' workshops, circles, keep sending it to publishers. Get a Writers' Market. Don't be discouraged by rejections or any of the others' disparaging comments. Consider doing this as a comic in Heavy Metal Magazine. Or Details.
Don't ever give up. You could raise awareness for liver disorders, spouse abuse, domestic violence. I think this is a very very good story, and you should not let it waste.

4.5/10 It wasn't bad. Yet I don't know it just seemed kind of fake and the accounts didn't seem all that real. Sorry but that's my thought.
Maybe if you lengthend the story more describing how the abuser got that way, how they ended up, what happens to the man and the daughter than it could work better.?

A major soap opera story, but it was good. Not my taste in what i like to read though. I give you a 4 out of 5. GREAT JOB!!

good story....it was really sad...i wish Kylie stood up for herself before and not just right at the end...but it was really good....since you're new at this, I would give you a 4.5/5....good job!! hope you continue to make stories =)
