If you wear eyeliner on the bottom of your eyes, can it make your eyes seem smaller? And does a thin line of black eyeliner on the bottom make blue eyes pop?

I think eyeliner enhances your eyes and Makes them stand out. Thick or thin it does make your eyes pop and makes them more noticeable instead of just nothing at all.

It can, but dont line it all the way under your eye. Just draw a line from the middle to the end of your eye(think a cat eye look). This actually gives you a doe eye effect. I do this, and I have small, close set eyes. It makes them look so nice with some good mascara. Also, do the same on the top to even it out.

your eyes tend to look smaller when you have dark or heavy eyeliner on the top and the bottom. lighter shades of liner help to lessen that effect. and yes, i think thin black liner on the bottom would make most eye colors pop, especially blue =]

It doesn't make your eye smaller. If you wear eyelinear on the bottom, I'll suggest you use pencil eyelinear or eye shadow w/ wet brush. Deep brown suits for blue eyes more than black.

It’s important to avoid certain colors because they are known for causing a “shadow” look on the eyelid, which closes your eye. I don’t recommend using dark grays or black, dark green, purple or blue. Dark browns are easier to work with, because they’re neutral colors. If your eyes are smaller, make the line as thin as possible. The thicker the line, the smaller your eyes will look. Also, don't apply liner on your lower lashes, as it will make your eyes look smaller. If you have small eyes, make your eyeliner thicker the further out you go. Then use a white, silver or gold pencil to line lower lashes.

depending on your eye size it does make you eyes appear to be smaller. white, or gold eye shimmer makes your eyes appear to be really big and bright on the lower lid.
