I'm about to turn 16, and I get $100,000 to choose for a car. I figure if I get the check for $100,000 I can use the left over money for gas.

I really like the Range Rover, and I would upgrade it to the special edition. I also like the Escalade. I like the BMW X5 as well.

I am definitely getting an SUV, but idk what to get.

Any suggestions?

I am hating you just a tiny bit for the whole 16 and getting 100 grand for a car, but what the heck. Maybe if I help you out, you can send me an extra $5000 so I can buy a car, and I am more than twice your age.

Range Rovers are cool, but I would go with the Sport Rover model that is supercharged. It's wicked fast, luxurious, and not as off road capable, but it has serious presence and a better ride than the regular model. This is the STYLE choice.

The X5 is overrated, and really only proves that BMW should stick to cars. If that is your thing, a Porche Cayenne would be a better bet, and you could even swing a Turbo S with that money. This is the PERFORMANCE choice.

The Escalade is cheaper than the other two, but gives you more choices. I would either go with the EXT (open pickup bed) or the ESV (longer wheelbase model) and then hook it up with sweet audi and video mods, huge 20 inch or bigger chrome rims, and a some serious amps in the back. This is the BLING choice.

Please note: all of the above choices leave you plenty left over for gas, though the Prsche Cayenne can get close to $90k if you go for the Turbo S model.

I am jealous, but what the heck, at least you have some good advice on this now. Email me if you need more, or decide to throw some coin my way.

GET A ESCALADE, use some of the the left over $$$ to upgrade to 24's or 26's and a bump'n system. The rest of the money might get you a year or less worth of gas

Hondas and Fords have plenty of low-cost and well components that you'll be able to discover every time anything is going incorrect. Also Hondas are very secure. Ford Mustangs can also be too if the proper care has been within the autos existence. I'd say the ford mustang, honda civic, or honda accord. Higher the 12 months the larger. (however take miles under consideration.)

You should get a 1998 Ford Explorer. And put the rest of the money in mutual funds

Why dont you pay someone to choose your car for you?

Buy the Range Rover so I can laugh when you are broken down and calling daddy for a tow.
