Read the book "kingdom of Ice" in the 1920s the remains of the Atlantean civilization was discovered in a strange dry valley 650 miles east of the south pole. The valley was protected by overhanging rock cliffs and warmed by geothermal vents and hot springs...There were approximately 5,200 humans living there who had escaped the great flood in 7,905 BC and had no contacts with humans since. The US has agreed to cover up any existance of this Atlantean outpost, but every year a delegation arrives to confer with the leaders. there have been only 350 americans who have contact and they are sworn to secrecy. the atlanteans have shared knowledge, and weve given them our latest medical technology

I read something on this same topic just last night!! the gist of the story was that one American submarine and one Russian sub carry "delegates" to a super-secret meeting in the Antartic each year to decide what the fates of the entire world will be over the next six months. It was bizarre, but made points which seemed 'plausible'.
Had to do mainly with an Extraterrestial threat..... claimed there was a massive alien space-base on the other side of the moon. did you know that the moon presents only one side of it's surface to the earth at all times? on the other is an alien base we cant see........
