Its all about giving us free will. That includes the ability to help or hurt ourselves. What would be the point if we were all living life like puppets on a string?

Have more pride in being a human being there you. We came up with technology on our own. We have never needed technology to kill our selves. Any tool in the wrong hands can become dangerous.

he didn't give us the technology, he gave us free will, and we abused this in order to create technology advanced enough to kill one another.

God does want peace, he doesn't like it when people kill each other; but God values our agency more. He is deeply troubled when we use our agency to do evil, but he can't force people to do good or else he wouldn't be God, he would be a disctator.
