What is the benefit of having a 60 GB hard drive instead of a 20 GB hard drive on a playstation 3?

I realize that more GB = more storage, but i wanted to know the benefit of having this extra storage. What can be stored on the hard drive?

A 60GB hard drive provides 3 times more storage space than a 20GB hard drive.

60 > 20 more=better
