The central chemical in itch is histamine, a molecule released by mast cells in the skin. Histamine is the chemical that causes the itch and reddening when bitten by insects. It binds to local nerve endings on specific receptors.

Itch from cutaneous (skin-related) stimuli, such as movement of small hairs on the body, is transmitted along the same pathway as pain. Itch caused by histamine is transmitted to the brain by a different neural pathway, described in 2001 by Andrew et al. As with pain, histamine-induced itch travels via the spinothalamic tract, but in fibres specific for itch.

couple of reasons - an itch can occur when something tickles the skin, eg a fly or a hair.
Otherwise it occurs when the skin barrier has been breached by infection, wound, parasite etc. Within connective tissue, there are immunological cells known as mast cells. These are mobile lymphocytes and they secrete histamine in response to injury. The histamine triggers several reactions including increased blood flow to the area, which brings heat, increased permeability of the capillaries - to facilitate healing. The upshot is localised swelling which may not be noticable immediately, but itching is the symptom.

usually, the a_ _ hole itches due to the friction caused by residue toilet paper getting trapped in "butt hair pubics. The reason the itch doesn't occur immediately is because the follicle has not dried up. once the tissue and butt hair follicle dry up, the sensitive skin around the anal cavity is soaked in dry sweat, which, when dried, is salt.

Essentially, what is happening on a molecular level is the strands of the pubic hair and the fibres from the toilet paper are rubbing with dried salt from sweat around the anal glands. Imagine a million tiny knives scratching against a brickwall every time the wall moves. That is what is happening inside the buttocks well.

one way of getting the same effect is by putting a teaspoon of salt and then rubbing it on your lips. the itch occurs from the chemical reaction of the salt rubbing against the skin glands as caused by movement.

It's usually because your nerves, the ones near the skin, are upset, and that is your brain telling them to cause a disturbance to get your attention. Have you noticed that when you itch, there is either a little bump, like an insect has been visiting, or it's wet from sweat? like in the crotch areas? I think your body talks to you all the time, and it takes an itch to get your attention.

it can be a subconscious impulse (IE: try going 1 solid minute without scratching an itch, chances are you will feel an itch 10 seconds into the minute because your subconscious is telling you there is one) or a legitimate foreign object like the 85 trillion invisible dust specs in any given room irritates a hair follicle.

The thyroid is a butterfly-shaped gland that sits low on the front of the neck. Your thyroid lies below your Adam’s apple, along the front of the windpipe. The thyroid has two side lobes, connected by a bridge (isthmus) in the middle. When the thyroid is its normal size, you’re unlikely to be able to feel it.
All types of hyperthyroidism are due to overproduction of thyroid hormones, but the condition can develop in several ways.
Thyroid hormone production can be suppressed or halted completely in these ways: https://tr.im/hRqmV

Because your body encounters an irritant, which activates your histamine response. The histamine response rushes white blood cells to the area to deal with the problem, and the capillaries in the area become "weepy", trying to dilute the toxins in your system. That causes inflammation, and the inflammation irritates the surrounding tissue, which makes you itch.

This is a natural program that you can try to cure your acid reflux http://hypothyroidism.toptips.org

Acid reflux disease, also known as gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD), occurs due to the coexistence of several medical and lifestyle conditions. Physiological factors that trigger GERD include lower esophageal sphincter (LES) hypotonia (the gradual weakening of the LES), along with retrograde flow of stomach contents into the esophagus, and the level of sensitivity of the esophageal mucus to the reflux content.
