I don't think I consider myself a retard just because I use the short code for laughing at you which 'lol" means (laughing out loud). Go to www.slangonline.com and you will see what the 21st century has brought on us.

It means laugh out loud. People use it because LOL is faster than spelling it out. Computer talk is just the way things are these days.
