we bought a whole lot of X10 sensors, cameras, switches etc and can't get it to work. In ONE room all together it works, the moment you are further aprt nothings works anymore, any ideas?

Two things ... you should probably post this question in Yahoo Answers Consumer Electronics catagory. Your chances of reaching someone with experience with the same equipment will be better.
I have not used this particular equipment. Before I buy electronic devices, I check out the following website for the opinions of others:

i'm not sure how it would work, sorry. maybe u should ask the place where u bought it at for customer help
