I think that after some time historians will look back at the Clinton presidency and realize that he truly was a wonderful president. So what if he had an affair? The American people didn't seem to mind in the '96 election.
I think our current president is a disgrace to this nation and if anyone deserves to be impeached it is Bush. He has truly defied the Constitution and his "leadership" has imbroiled our nation in this generation's Vietnam. I can't wait to see the Republicans faces come November when they lose the House and probably the Senate. It will be a sweet day indeed. Now if we could just get some great candidates for the '08 election.

Like you and everybody else, I think he was one of the better presidents in recent memory. Why he wasn't obsessed with military power like Bush? It's because he was getting some from two women during the same period of time. What a guy! An inspiration to all men everywhere! Clinton had power, a sexual appetite like no other (according to his book), and two women doing sexual requests for him! He was truly a great president because he knew he had flaws and can admit to them afterwards.
On a side note, i've always found it ironic that he was almost impeach for that personal affair, yet Bush isn't anywhere near impeachment for wasting over 2500 lives inside his own military to get his pals richer...

I liked him and I would vote for him again. Under the Clinton administration we had a balanced budget for the first time in several decades. Now all that has been thrown down the crapper with the Bush administration. Thanks to George W our government is now trillions of dollars in debt.
So the guy had an incident of sexual indescretion. Well shame on him! George W has deliberately lied to the American public is that any better???

That he didn't actually accomplish anything while president. He abused his veto and pardon powers. He used the war in Iraq (yes he had one too) as a distraction from his legal problems. He was a criminal because he perjured himself under oath in a court of law and tried to cover it up far too long. His impeachment was deserved, and he should have been removed from office after that. He wasn't elected in either election by more than 50% of the popular vote. Which means that more than 50% of the people in America didn't want him as president either election but just couldn't agree on who they did want. I don't think he is a great man or was a great president.

He's the best president ever. Everything was not a disaster. The right wing tried to destroy is legacy, but those who are true with themselves know he was a great leader. The Insecure right will try to come with all kind of reasons why he wasn't a good leader. I can't understand why they are like that, but he was the best

I totally agree with you. He was awesome, wish he could still be the President. And for the all the people who cite his indiscretion, I think that just shows he's human, made a mistake, but ultimately looked after America very well.

clinton's list of violations are legion; abuse of presidential power, rape, perjury, obstruction of justice, treason, adultery, graft...just to name a few, and dont let me forget to mention that he was impeached and disbarred. oh, and let us not forget his total disrespect for the office of president of the united states of america and his wife and daughter. he is and always will be a slimy, loathsome being. and we can thank the clinton administration for the situation we are in now in the middle east with his do nothing foreign policy. oh and what about sandy berger, his national security adviser stealing classified information from the united states government and hiding them in his socks and underpants so clinton screw ups would not be known. a corrupt administration. you must be from some socialist country over in europe or something to admire him so much
oh, and have a nice day!

I will not go as far as you, but the country was in better shape then than now. And he was smarter than people think.
One more thing. Gwen the first Gulf War was George Bush Sr's war, not Clinton.
