We do BINGO every now and then and let the winner leave early for the day. That's always one they all love.

We also do things like Jeopardy, Family Fued, etc.

Trivia questions are always a good mental break as well. I'll send my team random trivia questions with a minimal prize and they always seem to enjoy thinking about something other than work for a bit. Plus, they're all competitive by nature, so they just eat it up!

If it's work related, offer a prize for the most productivity, and let the contest go on for about a month to build up the tension.

If it's fun-related, fantasy sports or making lunch bets on the inner workings of celebrities' lives happens to be great fun.

A fun one is Get to know you bingo.
You start with a bingo card with weird facts on them like
Never been on a plane
Was Prom Queen
Seen every Star Wars Movie

and they have to go around and try to ask questions and see who has or hasn't done something. It's a good way for people to get to know each other better. You can offer a prize

Paper clip basketball. It kills time like no other. And, no, I am not a major slacker milking the time clock. I just had a super-slow job once and so my co-workers and I would play games to pass the time.
