Elvis' contribution to and influence over music is not and can never be overrated, but as a person he is definitely overrrated. He was certainly not someone I would ever want to marry, let alone have a child with. Unfortunately, a lot of times the people who have been given the greatest talents often suffer from the greatest weaknesses, and Elvis was one of them. I try to remember what he gave us musically because that's what he would want.

No Elvis brought a whole generation a type of music that was only played on traditionally black radio at the time and predominantly in the south. So for people that were white it was a way to get it to them. Hello listen to the eminem song since Elvis to do black music so selfishly.
