It would be the Mavericks. I don't say the Mavs just because I am a fan of them, but when you look at their bench and look at their stats, it shows. Yea the Heat did win but they are not the BEST team in the NBA, their bench just isn't deep enough, what brought them was their line-up (Wade, Shaq, Williams, Haslem, Mourning). IF Dirk hadn't struggled the whole series they would have gotten them to the Championship! But that was last Season now, and I still believe it is the Mavericks, but I am seeing the Suns making a new move in the NBA, but not close to the Mavs Yet!!!

Definitely Heat because D Wade is on fire as usual and Shaq is right along there with him and the mavericks is a suck team they let Miami come back to a 2-0 but then Miami once again wins. Spurs didn't do good this season at all. There are no others

Until they are beaten, the Heat are the champions, and the best team. The Spurs and Mavs are close behind, while Phoenix may be ready to take the title provided Amare comes back 100%.

Other: Detroit Pistons, ben's leaving does nothing to affect the pistons (accept maybe help theM), if they can learn to play like an actuall pro team next year (in the playoofs that is) they WILL win the championship.

I would say the Mavericks. Okay okay, i admit it, i'm a mavs fan. But they did quite well in this year's finals. if only we still had steve nash ...
but the spurs are a good team as well. they've got great teamwork and their three point shots are deadly. They'd probably be the best.

I would have to say the Mavericks because they are young still and have good balance. Under Avery Johnson, they have become a better (not great) defensive team.
