Some friends are moving, and their teen had put radio station stickers on his bedroom door; now they're preparing the house for sale, and need to get the stickers off of the door. Does anyone know of the easiest way to do this, and/or the best product(s) to buy to help remove these? (They're already assuming they'll have to repaint the door.) Thanks to everyone who has feedback for this question.

Umm, there's this stuff that's called Goo-Gone. It takes off sticker gunk and much more!!! lol, I sound like a dork. But it really works and it smells like oranges.

WD-40 is good,
but GooGone or plain ol' lighter fluid is better.
Soak the sticker with the solvent and gently scrape it off with a razor blade, I had to do it many times when I managed an apartment complex.
Adding a heat source like a hair dryer will speed up the process.

goo gone or if you don't have enough money for that. vinegar water with 1/2 cup of vinegar to a 1/2 gallon of warm water. If that doesn't work try 1/4 cup fabric softener in 1/2 gallon of water.

Try a hairdryer. I've heard that if you heat the glue, it'll come off easier. Same theory for removing wallpaper, except there has to be some chemicals for that.

rubbing alcohol, put it on a cotton ball and get the stickers wet, they should get gummy and you can work them off. works on windows and car paint too..
