i'm not sure where to get my ear pierced, the top, or a little bit lower like right where the cartilidge starts. which one looks better?

i'm 13! i'm not getting my navel pierced! lol it was hard enough getting my mom to let me do this. i'm paying for it too...
i dont care about the pain

I thought about getting mine pierced at the top in the cartilage, but have heard nothing but stories about how painful it is and that it takes forever to heal. My ears are very sensitive to begin with, so I opted against it altogether. But I still think it looks cool!

ive got a lot of piercings in my ears and if u get one on the cartilidge make sure you go to clairs or something and not wall mart, and ive always liked loops higher up on the ear

Get it pierced at the top to start with. You can always pierce it lower later, but starting there is good, as it's more painful and will make the later piercings easier to deal with. :)

doesn't matter. i have four holes in my ear, and the cartilage is cute, but whichever way you get it done, its still gonna look cute if you get some cute white-diamond earrings[but the earrings have to be REAL though, or your ears will get infected by the fake metal of the earrings] so get solid gold, or white gold with white diamonds.

Upper looks better but is more of a risk...I find small loops all the way up good though!
