A warning Means take shelter because it is happening right now. Like say for instance a tornado warning is issued that means that there is one in your listening area and you should seek a safe place to avoid injury. If they issue a tornado watch in your area that means that the weather conditions are optimal for producing a tornado and that you should keep listening in case a tornado does appear and they spot it on doppler radar and issue a warning. I hope this helped.

weather warning means there is an immediate threat to your part of your state. I'e if you have a tornado warning for your county you had better get to low ground right away.

Weather watch means that condtions ar favorable for bad weather and bad storms could develop at anytime, so keep an eye on the weather. Hope that helps you out

I'll answer the question with an example:

Tornado Watch: Yeah, this storm that's rollin' by seems to have produced tornados before in other states or it looks pretty bad and could produce one in your area.

Tornado Warning: Umm...Hide. There was a tornado nearby and there could be another one.

Pretty snazzy, eh?
