I am willing to go any and every where he wants this night to go, it is all about his pleasure and what he wants! He is the light of my life and I will do anything, I mean anything, to make him happy!

If he's the romantic type, then I think so. If he's the Rambo / Spike TV type, then I don't think so. You have to see if your husband would enjoy something like that. At 53, either he's going to like it because he's never done it, or he's going to hate it because it's 'gay'

WARNING this is a man's perspective...All of that stuff is great for the TWO of you on your anniversary, and it might even be a good evening every once in a while. If you bring out candles and body oil, then you had better be getting ready to make his wildest sexual fantasies come true. I know it sounds shallow, but when he sees all of that stuff the first thing on his mind is going to be, "Please let this lead to something good." And by "good", I mean total sexual pleasure. Romantic dinner, candles, and body oil entitile him to a night of passion. If you give him a steak, a new gadget or gizmo, and a beer, then he will not feel entitled to sex. How far are you williing to go?

I don't know your husband's personality - but the best gift I ever gave my husband was 20 laps at a NASCAR driving school. It has been two years ago and he is still talking about it, We are not Nascar fans, but one day as he was channel surfing - he mentioned that once in his life he would like to drive a car going 170 miles per hour. I got on line and arranged a gift certificate for a NASCAR experience. ( Ours was Team Texas through Texas Motor Speedway ) . I guess it is a guy thing - but his friends and business associates talked about what a great wife he must have. Guys just think differently than we do about what is romantic. By the way - he was 46 at the time so I think it appealed to the "midlife crisis" time of his life. Just a thought - but another option you might consider.

Anything creatively written.
For example, a poem or a song
You could take his first name and come up with a word or phrase that describes him or how you feel about him using the letters of his name to begin that word (ie S = sexy A = awesome M= magnificient
-OR-
Draw, paint anything...Homemade gifts rock! They speak "love" louder than some other things... plus they become keepsakes.
Maybe an early photo of the 2 of you but then scan it and colorize it to add to your poem or song....
At least, a short meaningful letter or perhaps a bunch of love notes all around the house (in his coffee mug, folded into the newspaper, stuck to the computer and/tv screen, on the car seat, in the golf clubs, --little Post It notes with compliments or something you appreciate about him....have fun celebrating!

I can think of nothing better to give your husband than an intimate night alone together with all of the things you mentioned. The only other thing I might add is staying at a charming Bed & Breakfast for the night.....oh, and a bubble bath together.

It all depends on your husband. Is he the kind of guy that likes to be pampered ina girly kind of way. Or is this your way of getting what you want?? i mean what you'd like for a present from him or on a more freuquent manner? If it is something he likes. to be pampered in a girly way and rarely gets it.. yes of course.
But what does he like to do that he doesnt get to do too often or at all or for a long time??
What does he want to do that he hasnt been able to do at all>?
Maybe give him something hes always asked for..
and for added bonus * not the ONLY present you get him * but do a thing or two in bed that you would normally say no to that he wants/ to do ..and also give him something he likes but you rarely do.. ( dont over step your personal boundaries just let them down enough where he'd be satisfied and you wont feel odd afterwards heck you may like it.. sya he wants to do anal and you've always said no, if it wont cause a ripple in the marriage do it)
maybe make him his ultimate fav dinner at home..or something let him go nag free.lol stuff like that...
if it is go out with his buddies..give him a card that has a ticket ( childish but sexy) that says ..one free day or night or weekend doing..... ( fill in what he likes or leave it wild card ) with friends..

I think that he'll like it if he's the romantic type. It's sounds more of something like the guy would do for the girl, girls tend to be more into the romance. I think he might enjoy it if you just gave him some mind blowing sex and focus just on him.

That is perfect! You should also try and go to Fredrick's of Hollywood and buy a french maid costume or a genie one. They also have hot body lotions that you can use. Make sure you have whipped cream in handy too! Have fun!

Sounds good so far. You may want to serve the dessert in the bedroom. Happy B-Day to the Hubby
