I got this great new job as an admissions advisor at a university. The pay is great, so are the benefits, and the people that work there are awesome!!!!!! I thought i would never find a job like this since most of my other jobs were crappy and paid less than 7.50 per hour and no benefits. Anyway my boyfriend works as a mover at a moving company, but the work is not steady. So ever since i havent gotten this job my boyfriend has been stand offish of me. I dont understand he seemed happy when i got my interview with the company.

Hey darling, it seems like a bit of a classic case of jealousy. He probably feels a bit uncomfortable that you are earning more than he is and are happier and more secure in your new workplace. If he's a sweet guy, he probably is just worried because things are changing and that he might not be good enough for you with all your new life and confidence and vitality; I think maybe you should have a chat with him and tell him that he's going to be a part of this new stage of your life. Reassure him. He's probably feeling a bit insecure, that's all.
However, if the guy isn't happy for you in this great new pozzie, move on: you don't need anyone bringing you down.
That's my advice!

He's jealous Sweetie. It's typical that a man feel intimedated because his woman makes more money than him. All you can really do is reassure him that it doesn't matter to you what he makes (if you wanna tell that type of lie lol ) and never throw it in his face. He should be okay after a while...But if he keeps acting up when he should be really happy for you, I'd say kick his *** to the Curb!!!

he was happy for you when you got the interview, but now he feels threatened by your success and feels that he may be replaced by someone else that can offer more for you than him, he feels that you may addopt an attitude that since you have a stable job then he should move ahead and get one too to provide for you and he is unsure if he is capable of doing that

A lot of men get insecure when the lady makes more money than they they feel like a "failure" Which is not true if really love someone it shouldn't matter who brings home the bacon.

Sounds like he is somewhat jealous. He is probably worried that you may meet someone new, and you may dump him. You are doing better than him and it is kind of a threat to him and his manhood. comfort him like the baby he is acting like!

With your new job now he has more free time now, and its easyer for him to fool around with one of your friends,and he has a guilty conscience. I bet its that one chick who dyes her hair and has big boobs.You should follow his movements just to be safe.
