can you change your address online for dmv? i can not find where to on their site

You can't do it on-line because that is way too logical for the California DMV to comprehend. Fill out the form below, print it and mail it to them at the address provided at the bottom. Then you must write your new address on a piece of paper and keep it with your license.

I don't think you can change your address over computer. I think you need to provide evidence, copy of utility bill or other like document to prove you reside where you say you do. If you call the DMV phone # they should give you web info on there telephone service menu. Good luck!
