I have no Idea how to do this stuff. I looked around for questions like this but they all just said "Make sure its in MP3 form." How do I get it into MP3 form without downloading anything? If you can be specific I would appreciate it. I'm good at music but not at computers.

You didn't say whether your song is already stored in digital format on a computer. If it is, there are programs out there that will convert it into MP3 format. Just do a Google search.
If it's not, it depends on what software you plan to use to record the song. There's a good chance it'll be recorded into WAV format. There are many programs to convert WAV to MP3.

Download Windows Media Player 11 from the microsoft website. Its free and is compatible with most of the popular music formats. It can convert into various formats, including convert to mp3. Go to the "Rip" tab and choose "MP3" format.
The default bit rate of 128 kbps is good enough quality (almost CD quality). But if its a website and download time/space is an issue, you should use lower bit rates (64 to 96 kbps).
