Bring back the forgotten State of Franklin. Franklin seceded from North Carolina, and attempted to become a state. It became part of Tennessee.
Present day Greenville, Tennessee was Greenville, Franklin, the state capital.

I'd rather they just cut one of their states in half by changing the borders (how about a north Utah and south Utah, hmm? or how about California??) to make another state... the USA doesn't need to control any more land on this planet!
