I would like to know which softwares are need to make flash your own flash content?

just macromedia flash? because a character on a website answered a question about tips to some emailer that said they were a beginner and wanted tips and he gave his own tips made cartoon about it was meant to be funny i guess

the cartoon i saw mentioned dreamweaver and soundforge, is that required?

OK. Short answer, you need Macromedia Flash - and that's it. You can download sound clips from flashkit.com, but actual voices will be tougher.
Long answer, you need everything that they are saying in that cartoon if you want to make some sweet, professional cartoons. However, if you've never spent any time in Flash, you will quickly realize that it takes a lot of Flash experience to start making animations like that - like hundreds and hundreds of hours. Soundforge is for editing audio files. You would typically make a digital recording of a voice and then edit it and save as a wav or mp3 file, import it into your Flash and time it on the timeline with the movements of your cartoon character.
Dreamweaver is for making the html page that your flash movie (.swf file) is embedded on.
