One of the credo's of America's version of christianity is forgiveness.
I've met and read articles written by people who profess to be christian and so fart haven't read or spoke to any American "christian" who will forgive him.
This is a sincere quetion. If the woman that he sinned against is willing to forgive then why won't people that weren't remotely concerned forgive?
Is compassion controlled by politics and oil companies too?

I am an "American Christian" and personally I was never angry to begin with. I think he was one of the better presidents we've had in recent years and quite frankly what goes on in his personal life is really no ones business as long as he is doing his job. But anyway that is just my opinion.

Why is it that Christians are held to a higher standard than everyone else?! Whenever someone doesn't like what a christian has said
or done they throw Christianity in their face. Being a Christian is
a way of life. We are not perfect, only GOD is. The only difference
between a christian and a non christian is that we admit we are sinners and repent for our wrong doings.
We are only human.
Yes we are to forgive but we are also supposed to be
obedient to GOD. One of the Ten commandments is Thou shall
not commit adultery. It is the one exception God okays for a divorce. If she was following God she would have left him. She didn't stay for him. She stayed for political reasons. I can forgive
Clinton for all of his wrong doings if he repents. You have to
repent to get forgiveness. However I would have dumped him
if I were her. Once a cheater always a cheater! A marriage in
Gods eyes is a binding commitment to God. He is my groom who
I follow. My husband is and will always be second to My lord. If
Clinton truely was a christian as he claimed to be he would have
taken his oath to God a little more seriously and he definitely would not have made light of it in front of the whole country. He
embarrased me in front of the world. How could you respect
someone who acted like a child and lied under oath when caught.
When I an wrong I am the first to admit it. I however am not perfect like everyone seems to think Clinton is.

Bush did not hide his alcoholsim. Every time something came up
he answered the questions up front. He also did not vote for
Partial Birth Abortion.(That is where you have to kill the baby because it is just about ready to be born. They induce the woman
just like every other pregnant woman and then quick suffocate
the baby before it can take its first breath!) He gave funding to faith based initiatives and lowered taxes for all. He is the first
president since the 70's to introduce a medicare drug plan even
if it is not perfect. He has accomplished so many things while
being at war. He is the first president to take the country from
a recession and turn it around economically durring the time of
war. He is already paying the deficit off faster than he said he was
going to while reducing taxes. Something the Democrats said
was impossible to achieve.

You sir are no Christian. I have read some of your questions and you are the biggest hate monger I have ever seen. How can you ask us not to judge Hillary when you judge and spew hate at everyone who does not believe as you do.
Hillary's business is no ones but hers. Too bad you can't be more of a man and stop persecuting innocent people.

You are a sad excuse for a human being. It is because of people like you that people cannot stand the Democratic Party. You are ruining the Democratic Parties reputation and you do not speak for me.

I am a Proud Respectable Democrat.

I completely agree. Christians would do well to remember that it says in the Bible thay you need to forgive other if you want God to forgive you. Sorry, I'm not a bible freak so I don't know exactly where in the Bible it says this. I guess they think they're impressing God by condemning Clinton and the Dixie Chicks and anyone else that doesn't agree with them. And yes, I am a Christian who thought Clinton was a great president!

Billy Graham and Jesse Jackson are both Christians, and they are among the Clintons' closest friends.

Don't assume that the zombies of the evangelical Christian Right speak for all Christians. There are plenty of thinking, tolerant Christians who are willing to forgive, or don't consider it necessary to forgive, because they know it's really none of their business.

Hillary Clinton is trying to maintain an image. She is hardly ever with her husband from what we are able to see on the news and most likely she has done the same thing as well. Couples like them as well as the ones in Hollywood are all about looking good, money and image not about being real.

You should be rated the question of the year. Yes Clinton was a very good president but he lied about his personal life. that's what Americans dont like. why, I dont know. We havent had a president that didn't lie. Myself , I'm not worried about what the presidents personal life en tales, So what ,Clinton got a ********, what I care about is what the government spent on investigating it. I would rather have a lieing Clinton about his sex life than a Bush any day. Sorry if I didn't answer your ?, I had to put my two cents in.

It's not about forgiving, it's about responsibility. The Christians might or might not forgive him, that's up to them, I'm not a Christian, and I don't forgive him. He betrayed his Office. Yes, so many other Presidents had sex with women other than their wives, and that was betrayal to their wives, but Clinton lied under Oath about it. He is as guilty as Nixon for lying to us. If Hilary forgave him, that's great, but that has nothing to do with the trust we gave him when he took the Oath of the highest office of our land.
